That’s why it’s becoming increasingly popular to relocate washing machines and dryers upstairs. To relocate your washer and dryer, you need to have a floor which can support vibrations and the weight of the machines. The space should also include a electric hookup for the dryer, water hookups and drainage .

Disconnect the vent pipe in the lint trap and also from the rear of the dryer or vent hole on the outside wall.

Close the cold and hot water valves off to the washing machine. Turn the machine on for 30 seconds to drain the water in the hoses. Disconnect the rear of this machine and both hoses in the water faucet , with a wrench. Disconnect the drain hose. Store the hoses inside of the drum.

Unplug the cord from each device and coil it. Tape the cable into the rear of the individual machine using painters tape.

Slide the lip of this appliance dolly beneath the dryer. Secure the dryer to the dolly, using the straps.

Roll the dolly to the stairs. Position it so you will pull on the dolly up the measures. Set of this dolly against the bottom stair and then press the stair climber button to elevate the wheel assembly. Reduce the dolly backward until it rests to the second stair. Press the stair climber button to elevate the dryer. Rest the dryer on the very first step. Raise the wheel assembly to the next step lift the dryer to the second step. Continue using the stair climber to elevate the dryer one step at a time until you have reached the very top of the stairs. Wheel the dryer to the laundry room.

Set the dryer 2 feet. Connect the vent pipe to the rear of the dryer and then to lint trap or vent hole. Twist the dryer into the outlet. Slide the dryer toward the wall. Do not crimp the vent hose.

Use the dolly to move the washing machine as you did the dryer. Place 1 foot away from the wall at its new site.

Twist the warm and water hoses to the rear of this device, using the wrench to tighten them. Connect them to the water heaters in precisely the exact same manner. Reconnect the drain pipe. Attach of the drain pipe to the laundry drain. If your brand new laundry room has a floor drain, place the drain pipe inches over the ground filter. This permits easy cleanup of debris and accumulated lint later on.

Twist the washing machine in toward the wall being careful not to crimp some of those hoses and slide it back.

Set on top of the machine. Otherwise, use the channel locks to correct the washer feet until it becomes level.
